Recently, the first fully automatic horizontal baler with self-developed soft rope/twine/string tying system in Asia, independently designed and manufactured by Jiangsu Xutian Environmental Machinery Co., Ltd. (XTPACK), finished full-line commissioning and was officially put into production at a solid waste recycling plant in Indonesia. The equipment operates stably with all working condition indicators meeting standards, marking the successful landing of China's core automatic soft rope/twine/string tying technology in the Southeast Asian market and setting a new benchmark for the export of solid waste recycling equipment.
The cooperation project started last November when the Indonesian client first contacted XTPACK's international sales team. At the initial communication stage, the client faced multiple operational pain points in baling mixed local solid waste, RDF fuel, waste plastics and textiles. XTPACK's technical and sales team followed up throughout the whole process. We held multiple special online meetings to analyze the client's actual production demands, repeatedly deduce solutions targeting key challenges including material moisture, impurity mixing degree, bale density and automatic tying stability, continuously optimize the hydraulic system, feeding conveyor structure and automatic soft rope knotting mechanism of the machine, and provide customized accurate quotation at the same time. After more than one month of detailed communication, the client fully recognized XTPACK's professional technical strength and confirmed the trip to China for factory inspection.
During their visit to China, the client inspected three domestic baler manufacturers in total. Besides visiting our production workshop and component processing assembly line, XTPACK team accompanied the client to a large solid waste disposal base in Hangzhou to witness the continuous operation of the same model automatic baler(steel wire tying ) on site. After seeing the core advantages of the machine including full-automatic binding without manual threading, high-density bale forming and low failure rate, the client clearly recognized the process gaps between XTPACK and the other three suppliers. XTPACK's exclusive complete soft rope/twine/string tying technology, durable machine workmanship, intelligent electronic control system and one-stop after-sales service solution led the industry in all aspects, completely eliminating the client's worries and finalizing the cooperation order with XTPACK .

After the order was confirmed, all departments including production, R&D, sheet metal, hydraulic and electrical control worked closely together to tackle the manufacturing task. After three and a half months of precise production, no-load and full-load material tests, the whole machine was disassembled, packed for export and shipped to the project site in Indonesia smoothly.
On June 2, 2026, General Manager Mr Liu led a special service team consisting of senior mechanical, hydraulic and electrical engineers to the Indonesian plant for on-site commissioning. During the field operation, the team encountered various challenges including plant layout restrictions, wet mixed waste material conditions and local power supply adaptation. Divided into specialized groups, Xutian technical staff optimized commissioning parameters overnight and solved all obstacles such as material blockage, tying tension matching and compaction pressure calibration one by one. The full commissioning work was completed within only one week, and the machine successfully started formal feeding production.

The on-site debugging of the baler machine for this project was successfully completed, with its stable and outstanding performance earning high praise from the client. The client warmly welcomed Xutian's technical team—a heartfelt recognition that serves as the core motivation driving Xutian to continuously refine its products and enhance its services.

The whole project, from pre-sales technical communication, domestic factory inspection, customized precise manufacturing to cross-border on-site commissioning and production launch, embodies the craftsmanship and wisdom of all Xutian staff.
